Pernigotti

Pernigotti is a division of the Averna Group, Milan Italy. It is one of the best-known and most prestigious confectionery producers in Italy and it is famous for the superior quality of its products.

The Pernigotti family founded the company in 1868 at Novi Ligure, Italy. Initially, the company produced classic white torrone, with nuts and almonds and covered with a thin sugar veil. Later Pernigotti started producing chocolate torrone and gianduiotti and eventually developed a full line of confectionery specilaitites. The company has 200 employees. The family ran the company until 1995, when it was sold to Averna Group.
