Boehm's Candies, Inc.
Founder Julius Boehm, of Swiss-Austrian descent, immigrated to Seattle in 1940 and opened his candy kitchen. In 1956 the company moved to Issaquah, WA where he built the Edelweiss Chalet in the shadow of the Issaquah Alps. It is here where over 200,000 travelers from near and far have come to see the chalet and most importantly, taste the Swiss chocolates. The high standards Mr. Boehm set for candy making are still painstakingly upheld. From exquisite European-style hand-dipped chocolates to crunchy, classic American peanut brittle, perfection is found in every bite that bears the Boehm's label.
